Lilière began with a shared dream of building something meaningful together. We imagined creating a business that reflected our values and our passions, but it wasn't until we planned our own wedding that the vision for Lilière truly came to life.

While planning our wedding, I found myself immersed in every detail, from the overall aesthetic and guest experience to the timelines, décor, and countless small touches that most people never notice. I realized I wasn't simply planning a celebration; I had discovered something I genuinely loved. I found myself noticing details others overlooked, anticipating the guest experience, and understanding how thoughtful planning could transform an event into something truly memorable.

Even after months of careful preparation, our wedding day reminded me how easily overlooked details and coordination can affect life's most meaningful moments. That experience reinforced my belief that exceptional events require not only beautiful design, but thoughtful planning, meticulous organization, and seamless execution.

From its name and visual identity to its website, client experience, and creative direction, Lilière was intentionally built to reflect timeless elegance, thoughtful hospitality, and exceptional attention to detail. As the business has grown, it has become a true family endeavor. While I lead the creative vision and client experience, Mehrdad brings his engineering expertise and craftsmanship help bring each design seamlessly to life.

Based in Sterling and proudly serving Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., Lilière offers luxury event planning, event design, floral styling, curated catering, Persian Sofreh Aghd ceremonies, and celebrations that feel both timeless and deeply personal.

My background in finance has shaped the way I approach every celebration. Founder & Creative Director

Lilière was founded by Arghavan after discovering a passion for event design while planning her own wedding. What began as a deeply personal experience quickly became a calling, one rooted in the belief that life's most meaningful moments deserve thoughtful planning, refined design, and genuine hospitality.

With an MBA in Finance, the CFP® designation, and more than 15 years of experience advising individuals, families, and business owners, Arghavan brings a rare combination of creative vision, strategic thinking, and meticulous organization to every celebration. She believes exceptional events are not defined by extravagant spending, but by intentional decisions, meaningful details, and flawless execution.

As Founder and Creative Director, she personally leads every aspect of the client experience, from the initial consultation and overall creative vision to budgeting, planning, vendor coordination, event styling, contracts, and final execution. Known for noticing the details others often overlook, she believes those thoughtful touches are what transform a beautiful event into an unforgettable experience.

Mehrdad leads the production behind every Lilière celebration, transforming creative concepts into beautifully executed experiences. With an engineering background and a passion for building and creating, he combines technical precision, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure every event is delivered seamlessly from beginning to end.

He specializes in custom fabrication, installations, and the craftsmanship that brings each creative vision to life. From designing and building bespoke display pieces and backdrops to assembling décor, managing event setup, supporting service, replenishing displays, and overseeing breakdown, Mehrdad ensures every celebration is executed with care, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.

Known for his calm demeanor, dependable leadership, and thoughtful approach to every detail, he provides the behind-the-scenes foundation that allows every Lilière celebration to unfold effortlessly for clients and their guests.
